Frazz is taking an overly optimistic view, considering how many people I know whose wills were broken in primary education.

Next up, Algebraā€¦.As a teacher I know full well that everyone should know how to do all those problems using exponents, positives, negatives, formulas, ā€¦ā€¦But Iā€™ve never been good at explaining why or when you would use it!

Lots of celebrities and athletes have gotten swindled by their managers or seemed inarticulate in public because they skipped too much schoolā€¦

Frazz speaks truth! Yā€™all are either failures at math or you flaunt it in othersā€™ faces that you passed.

Although math has infinite practical applications, I fail to see where to use trigonomic identities. In my view Pythagorasā€™ famous Theorem and the Unit Circle are all we need; why all this fuss about cosecant time 4 tangent all divided by sine?

Thanks to those who defended olā€™ ALā€¦.I definitely agree with the exercise for the mind argumentā€¦ā€¦..There is this, though, a 7th grade girl told me this.. ā€œDear Algebra, we donā€™t care about your x, sheā€™s gone, we donā€™t know yā€¦.. get over itā€¦..ā€

I thought it was a nice reframe. Some people have bought into the idea that school is difficult to comprehend itself, THEREFORE education is bad, THEREFORE donā€™t even aim to be smartā€¦become a Republican, destroy education for citizens.

And no, Iā€™m NOT a union teacher. Iā€™m old enough I got a decent education, thank you, before the CIA dumped LSD into the populace and flooded us with the distractions of the ā€˜60s to quell the revolution in the airā€¦and before talk radio substituted ā€™thought stoppersā€™ for doing your own thinkingā€¦

Go on, kids: complain about the classes you took youdidnā€™t ā€˜getā€™ and which told you you should be smart somewhere else or another fieldā€¦and for sure, eliminate the publica education which taught us about freedom and which you will allow paid talk show hosts with sixth grade vocabulary to eliminate, EVEN as Syria, China, Saudi Arabiaā€¦most of Africaā€¦copy US educaiton and completely dominate the intellectually weakened US.

Most right-wing talkshow hosts ARE subversives and serving their tyrant ma$ters, but YOU guys havenā€™t a clue.

Why? because all the classes on PROPAGANDA that I got in highschool were eliminated, leaving you jerks vulnerable.

The less you know the more certain you are. And fearful cowards, too. Go on, wave your gun at me, TeaPutzers.
