My dogs know the word “bingos” mean chicken jerky treats. They follow me around about 30 min before bedtime until I sing the “bingo” song ( a song I made up). Then all 3 dogs get their bingos and are ready for bed! I also yell “bingo” if I want to get them to come in from outside. It’s always worked so far!
dogs are way smarter then we give them credit for. Our dog knows when I change from my slippers to my sneakers that I am going somewhere and I can bet she will be sitting by the front door, ready to go. She is a full blood Chocolate Lab and smart as a whip.
My dog knows the word “bacon”…That’s what we call his Beggin’ Strips. So, if we talk about having breakfast and say “bacon”, at all, he goes crazy, too!
I don’t have to say a word. I put on my sunglasses and get a cigarette and the puppy beats me to the back door. ( Too many people live in my house. I have to smoke outside)
we have to say S.P. instead of sweet potato because I dry sweet potatoes for my dog. We have to say G instead of Grandma too, because he’s crazy about my mom.

My dogs know a lot of words especially “Outside” and I don’t have to say walk, just “Lets Go” and they get very excited. LOL!

Reminds me of a commercial where we are the dogs eyes, and he keeps thinking “bacon, bacon, bacon”. I forget what dog treats it is for.

I have a friend who’s dog knows his cats name and comes charging whenever he hears it to make sure the cat isn’t getting something he’s not.

Wow, our lab, Alex could spell it all too, but backwards, even he couldn’t do that! I’m impressed!
