I get that Bentley wouldn’t want to create new characters or make Jamaal’s lovelife a source of drama; but, I wish he would make Yolanda more likable. She comes across as a shrew who is stringing Jamaal along. Then again..most of the females in this strip come across as shrews.
I’m not sure how you can get up one more time than you were knocked down. Each time you get knocked down, you get up once. Unless you count getting out of the bed in the morning. OK, works for me.
