…the reason doctors did that was to assert their authority. folks had to unravel that mystery, figure out a hidden command of someone they absolutely had to obey.
what’s even worse is that there isn’t much history of wrong prescription-type of medical errors in that outpatient setting. patients likely will die from wrong amounts and stuff in a place like the ER.
Ask both a simple question about billing, the one who inflates the price by 1000% is the doctor. I made a therapy device for my child, $20 of PVC piping and some bolts. I looked at the doctor and said that will be $700 health care pricing, she did not even blink, but said that was fine.
Part of the illegibility is due to them using Latin. One time, someone looked at his medical record and confronted the doctor about SOB being written down.Well, for #1, you are not supposed to be reading that. And for #2, it stands for Short Of Breath!
We must remember that their are people who are not doctors that have horrid handwriting. (Unfortunately, I am one of those people who fit that category.)

I got a bill from my personal quack for $47 and it was supposed to be $17 because some minimum wage helper hit one wrong key.

The most illegible thing in the world: A doctor’s prescription written with a Post Office pen.

Then what is the other accused of? What the King said may make sense, but the starting premise doesn’t at all.

scrub-resistant bugs breeding from a ton of washing. then when it’s ok to have bugs on ya, there aren’t nearly as many of them.
