Luann: Which do you wanna hear, "discover the real you," "the 10 day diet," "look like a model" or "finding Mr. Right?" Bernice: They're all bogus. Bernice: "the real you is just you. Diets don't work. no one can look like a model. "Mr. Right" is a myth. Luann: I see. Well, what about "pessimistic bores who can't even hope or dream"? Bernice: how about "Girls with unrealistic fantasies: a way to set goals and improve your life?" Bernice: More like "fantasies: a dumb waste of time"! Luann: Well, "why argue with someone who's gonna end up a lonely old maid?" Bernie: "Why hand out with an idiot who you have nothing in common with?" Luann:" Joey Lawrence reveals his secret sex fantasies!" Bernice: Let's hear that!

What if Luann and Bernice are really two of the many personalities in the Character’s brain? As would be Knute, Gunther, Tiffany, Aaron, Delta, Brad, Diane, and TJ. All of the adults would be how the Character views the reactions of their caretaker at the asylum to their ravings.
