The trick is to take out all the quilts and blankets at the end of heating season, and just leave the bedspread and sheets. Then drop the thermostat about five degrees right at bedtime, and you’re set.
If she still says “I’m hot,” throw off the bedspread. Do it instantly before she has a chance to ask you to back off, like “I’m hotWHOOOSH!”
