Rob: Bucky, not all Portuguese and Italian soccer players "dive." Bucky: Robert... Why do you think they call slanted letters Italics? It's because they look like Italian soccer player, flying through the air like this... And each culture's traditions celebrate a different aspect of the diving ritual. For Spaniards, it's all about the symbolic reenactment of the moment of pain... It's the pain, or for short, S'pain.

The pain in Spain falls mainly in the sprain.

does that mean that folks who live in pain are paniards? and are certain dogs from there called "paniels? and there is a side dish called "panish rice?

Bucky would not be able to fly “through the air like this.” Not with that paunch keeping him earth-bound.

this hurts my brain bucky

I think Buckey sprained his brain, and that pain is likely to remain, as he doesn’t retain any knowledge he gains. Sun or Rain, Buckey will always be Roberts bane.

As this story arc seems to continue I think NBAers take dives also to get offensive fouls called. As to yesterday’s comments if some one could briefly explain cricket and am a little confused on rugby I’d appreciate it. I do love Australian rules football the rare times I get to see it since ESPN does cover it anymore. If it weren’t for Sky sports we wouldn’t know what’s going on in world sports.

I used to get out of KP and other special assignments because I could dive like the video…whenever the DC ‘experts’ would show up for a tour we’d have a short act of how we would overcome the villainous then-current enemy…
some imported makeup guy would slant my eyes and darken my face and I would be ‘shot’ from a bale of hay or out of a window…have taken dives from trucks, too, with a dummy grenade in hand, wooden knife in teeth, gesticulating fiercely…would roll and spit a mouthful of ketchup at the visiting no-longer-dignified dignitaries…ah, show biz.
How I loved SOME moments in the Army…

I’ve found that I can explain the basics of cricket in about 15-20 minutes to a fellow Yank IF we’re both watching a match. It’s actually an easier sport to understand on the surface level than baseball (which I’ve tried explaining to a Brit), but you really need to be watching it as you learn it.
Cricket’s a great sport, and it’s unfortunate that the people who manage it in the USA are so determined to keep it to themselves.

In his own unique way, Bucky actually makes sense. Scary.
