First car I baught was a 10 year old 1940 Ford 2 dr. for $350.

First car? My lawn mower cost more than what I paid for 2 of my 3 cars that I have now!

I paid more for my first Cub Cadet, a 35 year old 124, than I paid for most of my cars. It outlasted most of them too.

Well, if we adjust for inflation, no. Apparently, Pluggers still think their current dollars are equivalent to 1950s dollars. Another absurd apples to asparagus comparison.
