Welcome back Leaky! Good to see you. Gotta start planning the intervention on poor Marg, though.Your comment re: the Pennys was the best; clear and succinct. Dangerously stupid. Although I see their cousins every day doing pretty much the same thing.
Goodmorning everyone-good to see Leaky and Marge back, tho now Susan is gone! I see the Pennys are planning another car trip though the Everglades although they have already been there on March 4th (was that a Sunday this year?-yes) or some other? And just how are they going to use all those coupons for the week of March 4th. ,Most things I do not bother to go any place special. I will go this month to my local Basha for blood tests (not covered by insurance there but SO convenient and I can easily have a snack there right after (not a great idea to drive much when fasting, I also like that they will email the results. I hope I am still doing as well as last year- first time my colestesterol was that low.
They probably drive from one side of the outlet mall to the other. The are Crustwoodiots..Nice hearing from you, Leaky. All of your fellow Crustwoodites missed you. Hope all is swell and well.
(So much for the niceties; where the heck are the pics and vids we were promised?…..lots of people speculating on circumstances….we need closure….and a little tittilation!)
It is simple math. figure the cost per mile for tires, oil changes and gasoline and I average an operating cost of 18 to 20 cents per mile. That doesn’t include repairs or daily costs of car payments, insurance, and taxes. With an average 10 gallon fill, finding a station with 10 cents per gallon savings has to be within 5 miles to not actually cost more.
Anyone remember the episode of Sinefelt where Kramer had big plans to take a truck load of soda cans to Michigan to collect the 10 cent deposit.on them. I alwas had two problems with the idea, first you couldn’t pack enough cans or bottles in a truck to pay for the gas, and second – as Michigan native I know that the state’s returnables have a bar code to seperate them from cans and bottles in other states so when their scanned the bottle refund machines know the difference between cans with a deposit, and cans without.
I have many groceries nearby, but like to shop mostly in just my fav store every week I DO go 7 miles away to my store for all my favorite foods in general, tho I will make a trip possibly every month to get seldom used things like soda and paper goods (Sprouts carried odd brands and I want the regular brands) but I can stop at most any chain for that stuff. That is less than a mile from home
A girl can’t even lean against a lamp post these days without somebody making something out of it….I told the cops I was just waiting for Leaky to get out of that bar, cos I wasn’t going in that awful place one more time. Not even ladies my age are safe in the parts of town he frequents. So who is it that gets dragged off to “local accommodations???” Is it Leaky?Heck no, he gets to run off and play hero, rescuing Marg…while I languish till they figure out how truly innocent I am.Pure as the driven snow…that’s me.Honestly….would I lie?
