Like Skyler’s head
Isn’t that a symbol for a ranch…or something similar?
Right on, Skyler. A dry town is a boring town.
did it dry their drink as none could to the bar anymore, or did they drink it dry, each doing his part, bar none?
there’s nothing so sad as the pub with no beer
Duh
I was in one of those places. We didn’t stay long. Nor did we ever go back.
In case anyone cares, “bar none” means “without exception.”
Davy Crockett might have used the phrase to describe a woods that had been cleared of ursines.

My compliments to the artwork here. That middle frame in black and white is awesome. I feel that way at least once a day, usually when talking to my wife or kids.
“Yep..First the sliver ran out..then the people run out, then
the whiskey run out, then the beer run out.Don’t matter,
it’s good to see a high roller come through."(Kelly to Josie
Wales in The Outlaw Josie Wales.)
Bar none, or bar nun?
Our lady of the Do Drop Inn.
Maybe the saddest I ever saw our little MO town was the day the bar burned down.
Dry town?..The opposite of that was Yuma Arizona in the
early 1970’s..Seven(count em’) 7 drive through liquor stores
where if you had a beard they didn’t even ask for your license..
They had one store called “B-19” back then. Supposedly you
had to BE 19 to buy booze back then..They changed it to 21
in 1976..accidents/parents..ya know?
