As much as Andy is hated by so many writer’s comments, it’s a wonder they continue reading his strip.

Interesting. My “American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition” shows lasagna/lasagne but my “Shorter Oxford English Dictionary, Fifth Edition” has lasagne/lasagna. Hard to believe we speak the same language.

@NorthwoodserAndy (the character) is a lazy alcoholic purse-rifling rent-evader, who (in his spare time) has lots of other bad qualities. Readers love to hate Andy (the character)—which is why they love to read Andy (the comic strip). (By the way, the hard-drinking detective in my avatar is a character I write based a bit on good ol’ Andy. I don’t get credit for the picture, though, that was done by an artist friend of mine.)
