Hydras are tiny freshwater animals that don't die of old age! Zhuojing (James) Gu of Toronto, Canada, found a two color orange at a grocery store! Space age! John Glenn became the first American to orbit the earth on Feb. 20, 1962- finally, after 10 delays due to weather or technical problems!

Hydras don’t die of old age??? Maybe related to the Lernean Hydra with one of its heads immortal? Where’s Hercules when you need him?

I remember visiting the Science Museum in London with my late brother and my Dad especially to see the Friendship 7 capsule that John glen orbited the Earth in. It was amazingly small but a great testament to American spirit and Glen’s in particular. I wrote about the visit in the primary school magazine and won an award. My Gods, so many years ago.

Fortunately, John Glenn didn’t get so ‘spaced out’ from delays that he died before reaching old age.

The “Technical Problem” was that the fuse kept falling out of the bottom of the rocket….8:)

If Hydras never age then they must be the same age as their parents – looks like a little paradox here.
