Nah, he’s not. That tall girl Petey likes talked to him once.

Either way, he got rid of Ernesto, and that’s what counts.

i like ernesto’s t-shirt – self-promotion is everything! and isn’t this the first time anybody – let alone petey – has admitted ernesto is imaginary?

Could be, the tall girl is imaginary as well. I know lots of girls are.

It’s hard to imagine that Petey hasn’t made a cartoon about Ernesto, that how it’s done isn’t it Richard?

Of course Ernesto is imaginary! Mr. Thompson said so himself in the third panel. (Although he misspelled faux.)

Ernesto moves too much to be a subject in Petey’s comics.

I’d think of getting my imagination wiped clean if I were you, Petey.

I think this is pretty much how my family & friends feel about my comics. Unfortunately… they aren’t imaginary.
