According to my teacher friend, the problem at her school is that as soon as students walk off school property, the bullying can start unhindered because the school has no jurisdiction outside of their property.

I was picked on and bullied throughout school for being different and I did attempt suicide.

We have a good set of school systems up here in the mid part of eastern Wisconsin (each county has several districts, one for each substantial town), but there is bullying on our bus. Grades 4K – 12 ride on the same bus, which usually works out ok, but not always.
