I do have to say, though….make fun of Richard Simmons all you want…. as my mother used to say, “he’s crying all the way to the bank.”But sorry, blatant and generalized gay-bashing is NOT funny.

I’m in the same boat: I’ve never heard of Mr. Simmons.

I lost some good weight when I bought his book.

He used to appear on David Letterman’s show very often but they seem to have stopped booking him. Or more likely Richard got tired of Dave picking on him.I still laugh at the show clip from Thanksgiving when Simmons came out in a huge feathered turkey costume. After a few minutes of talk Dave broke a CO2 fire extinguisher and chased the big turkey around the stage

Is he still even around? Out with the rest of the 90’s garbage.
