Is thirty seconds an improvement because he made it for thirty seconds without asking for help, or it only took him thirty seconds to realize he needed help?

That is a CD drive — a slot load type. Even the older, 1st generation iMacs never had floppy drives.

It’s like watching my sister condensed. Only she would have tried to fit it in the slot and asked for help to get it out.
