nah…wacky squirrel was a comic book character back in the mid-80’s. can’t call yourself screwball, either. tex avery did him back in the 40’s.

Many years ago I watched a programme where viewers could write in about TV shows. It was called Points of View. Anyway, a Screwy Squirrel cartoon had been shown and some doctor had written in berating the BBC for showing it. He couldn’t tell the difference between comedy cartooning and real life.
