Good to know! There are no active volcanoes on Australia's mainland! Isidore and Joan Schwartz stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City, USA, on their wedding night in 1952, and when they returned in 2012 for their 60th anniversary they paid the same price as their first visit- $16.80! Flooding caused by heavy rains in March 2012 led to eels swimming through the streets of Masterson, New Zealand!

Feh. There were alligators swimming in Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico, during its flooding a few years back.

The eels had to take a detour; the ocean was closed for repairs!

Exactly. A dormant volcano is just one that isn’t erupting NOW. Lots of places have dormant volcanos – until they have ACTIVE volcanos…!

I’m a former Night Auditor for hotel/motels. It they paid that little for a room in this day & age, then the hotel had to have been a dump by now!

Dberrymanal1: Might I suggest you take a moment to look up the Waldorf-Astoria’s web-page? The rates are relatively easy to find.

Earlier this year they found a croc as far north as the Tampa area. We have plenty of gators in central Florida too.Had a gator in our swimming pool back in the 60s courtesy of some kids.
