That’s discusting! He’s but a pupae! (Is that how you spell that?)

She is just winging it.

Let him go, Camilla…. he’s still cute and fuzzy, and he clings to you… but before you know it, he’ll find his wings and fly.

Nah- it’s still a caterpiller- so, can’t tell the sex- could be her girlfriend!

Before you know it, she’ll try and change him, and he’ll shut off from the world for awhile…

Normally I refuse to spell check anybody…. but Naturally_Easy, you asked…and the Womble corrected…and I’m biting my tongue but it’s not working…so to both of you: yes.. “pupae” is correct…but it’s plural.

He is a pupa.They are pupae.

And actually the caterpillar isn’t a pupa until it’s in a chrysalis, I believe. Or cocoon, depending on the species.

She’s gonna be really upset when she finds out he’s only a moth.

Actually in this case it should be, “He hasn’t even hit pupaberty yet!”

Well, Camilla doesn’t owe you any explanations. Try to remember, you’re a Monarch butterfly, not a queen bee.
