But he’s apparently been sneaking away delegates. Most of the publicized events have been straw polls — for the real sessions, Paul supporters have been mobilizing (as they do) and actually taking the delegate roles. The GOP leadership has actually issued a warning to the state organizations. I still don’t think he’s going to make it, but it might be an interesting convention.
HAHAHAHAHA! That’s a good one!Clinton, besides being a Rhodes Scholar, is famous for being a major “wonk” who can speak insightfully on a wide variety of topics off the cuff. On one of his last days in the White House, at some minor press conference, someone asked him about Chad, I believe, and he apparently spoke brilliantly for an hour on African politics and their relation to geopolitics with no notes. Whereas Bush could barely make it through business school with Cs, and only got in because of his father. When it comes to “literacy,” Bubba beats Bush hands-down.
Wow, look at all that venom. Wonder why? Jealous? Leaving aside his personal failings (which while regrettable aren’t even comparable to Newt, for example), he has worked tirelessly for charitable causes since leaving office, including establishing the Clinton Foundation, which has done wonderful things around the world, and for which he raises money. Also, lest you forget, he teamed up with George H. W. Bush at the request of George W. to help deal with Haiti, and they’ve evidently become good friends since. Perhaps because the elder Bush and Clinton are both smart, international guys who would have avoided a war in Iraq? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clinton_Foundation

Hmm, how long can Newt “survive” on the take from his “pac” money?
