Simple. Riiiiight.

Harsh logic.

Simple, huh? Not only would it be hard to kill Flask when she has the only weapon in the vicinity (unless Marx is hiding one), but Wally’s also not one to find ‘kill’ a ‘simple’ answer.Flask, who is this ‘gang’ you speak of? We have the ship itself. Does that and her alone constitute as a gang?

Simple in concept, somewhat more difficult in execution (NPI).

As I said on the weekend: Mr Neathery gives us one knife-edged dilemma after the next.What would be the human thing to do?What woud YOU do?

I would smash in her skull with Aaron Marx’s bleeding, severed head.

I would get her to change her mind, by unearthing her repressed early life traumas through the means of highly confrontational psychodrama.

I would challenge her to a game of cards. Winner take all.

Let us taunt her. She will become so angry that she may make a mistake.

I doubt if Wally wants to kill Flask. It looks like A.M. doesn’t have any worries about being blown to bits. He is a hard to figure out dude.People who are facing eminent death are not usually concerned with their finger nails. I guess I didn’t notice he wore gloves before.

Argh. I still don’t know if I actually want Flask to fail or not here…

Or persuade/Trick Flask into making him captain?

What would I do? I’d do the watusi!

Ooooo…. Catfight! ;-)I still think Linda has a part to play here. Not sure what, but she’s not going to just abandon ship and watch Flask blow up her kid. Flask has already determined that she’s ready to die to carry out this plan. It’s going to take someone willing to die to stop her.

Well, Flask is trying at the moment to kill herself (and them) anyway. No biggie to dispathch her a moment earlier than she had planned, and in the process, save the others and the ship (and the dittos).

Aaaah… kill off the best character? Don’t think it’s going to happen. Kill her off and you may as well kill off all of Endtown.

Nope. Can’t see Wally doing that. Methinks I feel a Shakespearean battle approaching.

Let’s review shall we: Flask is suicidal, homicidal, and seemingly beyond reasoning with (but still hotter than beach sand in August). Wally is locked in the hall, weaponless, running out of time, and wondering why can’t it be someone else’s turn to kill someone . Petey’s off getting a hernia trying to lift that PT out of the bin in the hold. Linda is soused to the gills and drooling on the remains of lunch. Holly is desperately hoping someone will wake her up from this nightmare as she now faces certain death for the FOURTH time in the last 36 hrs. But hope remains, for AM once again has perfectly manicured nails beneath his spotless white gloves. Just another day in Endtown folks, and it’s only Monday! ;-)

Question: Have we ever seen Wally kill anyone?

Where IS this bridge that she can look forward out the window and see none of the rest of the ship?

Marx is most likely going to draw another gun for Wally, just like he did earlier.

Okay, another shot at a recap: .• Flask is locked in, on the bridge, with the ship recognizing her as the captain. So if someone wanted to kill her, how do they (a) get in, and (b) keep the ship from protecting her life?.• She wants to die, but she’s still urging the others (“gang”) to bail out and save themselves…hardly deserving of summary execution..• Marx is a certifiable fruit loop, but he never seems to be genuinely at a loss. Could he get into the bridge, maybe, by air-drawing a key to the door, or summoning his pixel minions, or something? Or is he just engineering some kind of group epiphany by forcing a crisis that he could turn off like a light switch?

The answer, JW, as always in these situations, is " It’s SCIENCE!" ;-)You’re probably right about the ditto screens, but Aaron went to a lot of trouble to make that “look” like a window, ie Flask’s reflection.

I thought Marx had the hots for her. But it takes more than that for him to mind her dying.

Is there some reason we can’t just notify the Topsiders and tell them what’s happening and advise them to evacuate?.I mean, I doubt they’ll believe us, but it still might save SOME lives….(Aaron’s solution would save more, though…)

What evidence do we have that Aaron Marx is anything close to human or that anything that is being seen by anybody present has any connection to reality. Since the dittoes can create the appearance of anything, everything that is being seen has to be questioned.

It could be that the people from Endtown are being tested to see what they would do under various circumstances. And who knows what the penalty might be for failing the test.

AM seems more of an irritant than ever. Which is why he probably has a another simple answer. I would maybe toss him overboard and if,, I guess the ship is going on unless SHE says no to it, or stop.. Imitate her voice??

I have to say that the reflection of Flask in the window is just amazing. A.N talent just knocks my socks off. It’s all in the details. So much to see in Aaron’s work. Oh, and the writing is Superb. Way to go Aaron!!!Safe Trip, Safe Flight to Pittsburg.

Her former colleagues stabbed her in the back and took away from her whatever Petey was before the mindwipe. They further humiliated her by deliberately rubbing her nose in her failure to recognize the trap they set up for her. She’s giving everyone else on the ship a chance to escape. The Topsiders aren’t “perceived enemies”, they really are trying to destroy her. This isn’t delusion, it’s desperation.
