Have Arlo putty the entrance till its 1 mm too narrow for starlings, Janis—even then, you cannot prevent house-sparrows from entering.

Housing discrimination IS illegal. But birds have a hard time hiring lawyers, with their reputation for being flighty, and leaving town.Guess this guy will just have to wing it if he decides to take Janis to court.

There goes the neighborhood……….

I just discovered yesterday that my new house has bluebirds in it. They didn’t sign the lease yet, or put down the deposit; I’ll have to talk with them today about those things.

The “bluebird of Happiness” generally leaves a few souveniers on my car.

Janis’s action may not be a cardinal sin but may be a sin against Cardinals. maybe a Mocking Jay will move in.

…she’s robin them of a housing opportunity…owl have to reserve jusdgement on her actions…she isn’t showing a flicker of remorse…

Bluebirds – had 12 babies survive in the box last year. this year we have a psychopath male that pecks the windows at dawn.Cover one he goes to another – took the box down and he mover to someone elses house. Prevented blubirdicide.

If it’s one of those nasty European starlings, then Janis has the right to shoo!
