Transcript:
Dad: Baldo, have you seen my watch? Baldo: Watch? Dad: You know... that device that says what time it is. Baldo: Oh, you mean like a cellphone... which also is a social hub, a calendar, a music player, a library, a gaming device, camera and calculator? Dad: Carmen, are we old? Tia Carmen: Let me ask the google.

I once bought a clip-on watch from that famous watchmaker, Levi’s. Ran for about six months, then died. I use my cell phone for the time now.

Considering how often I lose my cell phone, forget it or let the battery run out, it’s a good thing I have a watch, which is snapped on my wrist all the time and therefore I always know the time.

When he was about 10, my grandson actually asked for a watch. Now that he’s 16, he uses his cell phone like all his classmates.
