I’ve noticed that Horace doesn’t really stay in a single character for long. Sometimes he’s a perfectionist, sometimes he’s a slob, sometimes he’s short-tempered, etc. It changes according to the gag. It’s very unconventional, but it’s part of the brilliance of this strip.
