Never understood that emoticon. Is it supposed to be smiling or rolling its eyes?

semicolons separate independent clauses within the same sentence; they’re used for more official, serious writing forms.

The emoticon looks more like it’s crying because people don’t know the proper way to use a semicolon.

I saw the emoticon as eyebrows, eyes, mouth: a child.

Duct tape is very useful until the sticky dries up.
