My Argentine cousins told me that in Spanish, if a word begins with a vowel it should be preceded by “e” rather than “y.”

I have been so completely impressed with LilG’s kids friends. They are all so comfortable in conversation with us old fogies. Today we had one of her daughter’s friends over. She is a welder and she is going to make an artistic metal railing that My wife can use to get from our upper yard to our lower one. She was perfectly comfortable to sit around and visit with us for a couple of hours. I like that.

On that note, i say,

yes cleo, why would that surprise you? You put people at ease and make them feel comfortable, I think! And all young people don’t mind us OLD FARTS YOU KNOW! :-D Some even think of us as being PRETTY COOL!
