    I don’t think it sucks any more than it used to suck when it sucked before. Sometimes it’s great and sometimes it sucks but sucking is in the mind of the be-sucker.

    I think the gist of the joke is that at the time in which this cartoon is set, things were much simpler. Every day, the horoscope would read the same, as there was so much less to draw upon at that time. (pardon the pun)
