ah yes, the ‘homosexual agenda’ whereby recruiting innocent, but gullible teenagers is their number one goal.sure, that is an idiotic thing to say, and in this case it is sarcasm.the unfortunate thing is , there are people who believe this to be true and cannot be convinced otherwise and who are in a position to legally suppress and oppress a gay person, and deny them civll rights.
Therapy moment: a guy molested my seven-year-old self and my little brother in a movie theater…that he was living with a partner probably means really nothing. I had my prejudices, and yes, a bud who I stood up for against the football team WAS gay…he told me later. There probably have been effects. I’ve never consciously desired another man, and I’ve made more women happy and also many ultimately unhappy than likely ANYBODY you know. So what? Life’s a learning process. Bare with me…(!)
I certainly don’t want to increase my load by standing in the way of anybody’s happiness who wants to marry ANYBODY.
As for how you have/do sex? please don’t tell me…unless I’m involved it’s none of my business or…my government’s business, either.
Those of us who are adults have certain responsibilities, and controlling other people’s pleasure is pretty far down on the list, if it’s on there AT ALL.
Interesting that in the contacts I did have with gays (military and civilian), they were always polite in inquiry, and respected, “No, I’m not interested”. Quite a bit different than the behavior of “super straight” drunks in bars who never seem to understand a woman’s rejection when they’re hanging all over her.
yes, there is a generational divide on this issue, but don’t be too quick to stereotype. I’m 63 and believe in the 14th Amendment, equal rights for all, and the right for all to pursuit happiness as best they see fit. and my mom and dad were also….It burns me that us baby boomers, who did help do some good things for equal rights and opportunities for all half a century ago, now have so many who are just self-centered hateful old sh…
Hope every one is having a restful Memorial Day week end, I thought I’d share some Memorial Day images from the Presidio.
This weekend is the 75th birthday for the Golden Gate Bridge, a public works project during tough economic times, sort of like a stimulus. How many 70 somethings do you know that still look this good?
Saturday the USS Iowa (BB-61) sailed under the Golden Gate for the last time. The flag ship of the Moth Ball Fleet is beginning her new life as a museum in southern Cal.

Whatever viewpoint, we try to observe a certain amount of respectful debate. I rarely, will directly get personal, everyone is entitled to their opinions. I suggest you find another forum to vent your juvenile profanities.
