Hey, when Red and Rover has bee around for 51 years they may have something to say to 3G. R&R’s measly 12 years wouldn’t even impress Garfield, let alone the gals in 3G

I never got Apartment 3G in my local paper, so I can’t relate.

I hope it isn’t six straight days of “What is Superman up to now?” all over again.

I am old enough to remember reading Apt. 3-G, but never could understand it, much less relate to it (I was a little kid then). I thought they were people incapable of any humor or any ability to have fun.

first, Red & Rover is not necessarily trashing or ‘having something to say to’ 3G; the question was ‘what is new?’ and the answer doesn’t necessarily mean that it is so boring and predictable that the only thing new in it is the furniture. It could just be a silly answer to a genuine inquiry .but if it is interpreted as such, that says something for a little bit about the sensitivity of some 3G fans.second, there is no seniority list for commenting on other comics. a strip in its first week can trash ‘family circus’ all it wants (in fact, I would encourage it to)
