I got distracted by other stuff so ML got the faces pretty much, but between the two, what I see is either an upside down face twixt lion nose and shrink shoes or a wacky clown face using the same eyes. There’s also a kind of half profile face on the lion’s elbow.Any unusual painings on the wall here are right in line with my limited experience. Back in 2000 when I worked on the census for fun and profit, I did a setup visit to a local mental institution. The most “normal” picture on the wall was a copy of Wyeth’s “Christina’s World” that had a (more) ominous/disturbing tone.

I’m having a problem with the center picture on the wall. Is that a jelly roll or a fried egg on a white plate? or….?

He’s a-lion on the couch, not a-sitting on a throne. That’s why he’s not a king.
