Ahh, the good ol’ days when we used rabbit ears. We got a whopping 2 channels. Then about ’71 we got something called cable, and we actually got 8 channels for about $4 a month.
You know you’re getting old if you remember the days when televisions pulled signals out of the air and telephones had to be plugged into a cable outlet in the wall.
Top Cat, it is a lump, oops, a TV set, sorry, just messing around with you. I would expect it would be in Snoopy’s doghouse though, but perhaps it is not that big in size, maybe it is a small set.
Not me, I still use my rabbit ears, get 16 channels (not counting the religious ones) and record more than I can ever watch! Don’t even need a convert box because my computer has a digital tuner.

My little niece asked, “What is that on Snoopy’s tummy?”

Today it would be a laptop on his stomach and Netflix or Hulu. Plus a 52" flat screen in the doghouse.

Rabbit Ears… Wasn’t there a short run of strips where Snoopy gets pressed into service on top of a TV set, adjusting his ears to tune-in some program?

Is snoopy using the latest IPHONE to watch TV? Steve Jobs would be proud!

Ah, Snoopy, why aren’t you looking at the stars ( the ones in the sky, that is)? You have the ideal setting for star gazing.

Maybe he’s watching Mister Ed, The Munsters, The Addams Family, Andy Griffith, Green Acres, or Perry Mason.

That looks like a portable DVD player Snoopy’s watching. Back then, late TV was great. Especially Late Night with Johnny Carson.
