Hobbes in the last panel is priceless.

twenty years later and it is still one of the best comic strips around… everyone still focuses on him after all these years

Now what?

You must care for others and for yourself too, when you lie down, you can’t help very much others. But you must not care too much in yourself it must be place enough for others!

I quite agree with what Ambrose Bierce had said – Egotist n. A person of low taste, more interested in himself than in me.

Calvin’s “Me-ism” is closely related to another self absorbed trait – Narcissism. Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder in which the individual is described as being excessively preoccupied with issues of personal adequacy, power, prestige and vanity. (Props to Wiki.) Yes, I have spoken of this before.

I wonder to whom that might apply!I ‘shutter’ to think what might happen if all people ‘focused’ on Calvin.

Calvin says everyone should ‘focus’ on others, but if it doesn’t ‘click’ with Calvin, he won’t get the ‘picture’!
