@jungleman,Apparently you take (the real) Puddleglum to be a “Seeing is believing” (which fits the context of the comic) kind of guy. I reread The Silver Chair a year or two ago. Although Puddleglum is my favorite character in the Chronicles of Narnia series, I think I like the Voyage of the Dawn Treader best of all the books.
And if you throw some marshmellows and chocolate bars, and graham crackers under the bed before you use the flamethrower, you could make a really HUGE mess!!!
Check out “Little Monsters”, 1989, with Howie Mandel and Fred Savage. Make sure your little guys watch it. They’ll never be afraid of “Monsters Under The Bed” again.
@MagicFan,Since Reepicheep is utterly fearless, he would vanquish and dispatch those under the bed monsters posthaste. What do you like about Reepicheep?
All the smoke from the forest fires here in the West have been screwing up my sleeping patterns as well. No monsters but my asthma and arthritus have been humming along rather nicely….perhaps Calvin can do a deal with the monsters to clean up his room – this cartoon is something I look forward to every day for a much needed smile or laugh. And you…?
They were either invisible, hiding in the closet or were outside on the window ledge when mom did her usual no-monsters-under-the-bed check last night! What other explanation could there be?!?

Seems like they’d be a better source of info than a Mom who can’t see them.

Flood lights, time for flood lights under the bed, monsters don’t like flood lights!
