I’m no vegan or even vegetarian, but I’ll say they eat pretty well. Have a niece who is vegan, and we never mind eating at her place because it’s just incredible food.
I heard in the U.K. they feature veggie burgers at their McDonalds. I’m anemic so I have to eat meat every day. I’m no good without it. It runs in the family.
I started moving away from animal products once I started reading about how horrific the animal factories are and how much environmental devastation they cause. Some heart issues pushed me the rest of the way, and I have since changed to a plant-based, whole foods diet. Since the change, I enjoy my meals more than I did before the change, I’m spending less on food, I feel the best I’ve felt in about 20 years, I’ve lost weight without counting calories, and my bad and total cholesterol have dropped precipitously. It’s tough to stick to the diet when I eat out, but otherwise the change has been win-win-win-win-win. I used to LOVE meat and cheese, but now I’m a big fan of my vegan diet. That’s because they’re fresh out of the lawn mower.

Eating sprouts both looks and tastes like I’m really eating my front lawn. (But I know that there’s more to veggie cuisine than that.)
