Peekaboo: I've developed a fairly successful technique for catching fish... By submerging my paw and swirling it slowly in a circular motion... Approaching fish will be hypnotized...unaware of my sharp claws!
Fish: That's the ugliest lure I've ever seen!
Peekaboo doesn’t mind getting a paw wet?!? That’s most unusual in the cats I’ve known. Some of them didn’t care if their tails got soaked, though.
I have a friend that raises pure-breds for showing, they love their baths and to have their long fur blow-dried. You just have to start them as kittens.

By not biting, the fish are effectively telling Peekaboo to ‘take a long walk off a short pier’!

My cat will paw at the water in his water dish and then lick it off a few times before drinking the proper way. It’s so fun to watch!

One of my daughters had a cat that would put its front paws in her bath water. Copycat.

Except for many housecats, most cats like water – particularly tigers, jaguars, ocelots, etc. which seem to swim recreationally.

We have a cat who likes to jump in the tub and push up the bath mat to get at the water. Our other cat doesn’t mind being washed.
