I think he is subtly trolling us…Every time a comic features a lemming joke, at least 2 or 3 comments will be made about how they don’t jump off cliffs and it was all staged in the Disney movie, etc.

I once saw a sign saying “beware of cliffs”. I immediately imagined hundreds of Cliff Richards leaping out of the bushes “singing” at people as they walked past.
