    VV. He and GWB are the only people in the country who CAN’T be elected Prez again. Send Hilary and we’ll have someone with a brass pair for a change.

    Good call, Linguist!

    All elections need to change to a system in which the top two vote-getters in the primaries square off against one another, regardless of party affiliation. Otherwise the candidates will continue to push farther and farther to the extreme right or left in order to win their party’s primary, and then we wind up with two candidates who are embraced by their base but who have no appeal to those in the middle and who will be unable to work with anybody on the other side of the aisle. We need more center fielders.
