I have trouble sleeping too. That’s why I’m typing these stupid comments at this ungodly hour of the night !

I saw your first version when you typed ‘Sunday’ instead of ‘Sabbath’.It’s a shame you didn’t delete the first paragraph instead.

Well, I am off to the comfort of my bed for a few hours respite. I will talk to all you “gossiping old women” later. Have a great night/morning/whatever.

It’s Saturday, so I assume you are of the Jewish persuasion. Isn’t typing comments a form of work?

Aye captain 6. I too am up at this ungodly hour since 1:30 am. Have a hard time getting back to the hay.

Very good, but I still think he would have been a page three “reader”.

In AZ, the mornings are fantastic. However, 112 today will be a dry heat. The dogs have little booties & we try not to go out in the day. We have A/C – two, too, also!. The plants need extra watering.

I’m sure it was quite nice when the Doctor made home visits back then.

Doctors were better in the old days…

This would’ve been funnier if the doc had tossed Andy out more like Sarge would toss Beetle (or the way the crooks go flying on the animation of the old “Batman” show, thankfully in reruns these days!)

What time in the afternoon do you get up? I prefer to wait til that big bright thing in the sky goes away – So much beer and so little time to drink it. I’m doing my bit.

I think there’s a lot about the British way of life that our US friends don’t get (and vice versa). There ARE people in the UK (still) who are like the Andy of old and I’m sure lots of US men (and women) spend a lot of time in bars. What differs if our attitudes towards it. We’re used to centuries of it, whereas the US has less of a social tradition of drink culture.

That said, we’re ALL human beings and have the same foibles. So all you Andy detractors (less lately) let’s just look and learn.
