MARK TRAIL: Wow…that was close…what’s next?BRENDA & PATCH: Thanks, Teh, for the tactful reminder that B’s dog’s name was “Patch” & not “Patches” as Basil St. John, Basil’s son Sage, and B’s doggie all wore a single eye patch.JUDGE PARKER: Nice scenery (artwork). I get the feeling we’re about to have some drama…something’s going to happen.FUNKY W: Les is packing! They’re heading for East Africa and its highest mountain, Kilimanjaro – hooray (or as Montana Lady would say, woo hoo!).
APT3G: the ambulance is the best idea in the circumstance
does anyone have experience buying books online? I have not bought a book for many years except as a gift. specifically, i’m looking for a book titled “Last Flag Flying” by Darryl Ponicsan. I always get books from the library but they do not have this novel. Prices on Amazon and other sites are $89+ for the paperback! Barnes and Noble has it for $230! Most of Ponicsan’s other novels are priced under $5. I do not know why this book is priced so high.
Judge Parker – After all this build-up, it better be good.Funky – They will be on their way long before Dawn Weston will.A3G – Nina, there are people who know how to move people in distress and how to help in this situation. You’re being stupid again. Scott will probably call Tommie whose training included home deliveries.
thanks Marvee and Florchi for checking!! This book may be adapted to screenplay for movie as a follow-up to the great 1973 movie “The Last Detail” which is one of my favorite movies. Jack Nicholson and Randy Quaid have agreed to reprise their roles
Florchi, in answer to your question yesterday, I read most of the comics we discuss here at “dailyink.com”. Their archive is almost as good as GC, but it is limited to one year.

REX MORGAN: It looks as if Mabel is in serious trouble if the room reserved for her and Iris to talk at police headquarters is only good for an hour.
MARY WORTH: Rehash.
APT3G: So call Tommie, already.
