Can you find this one in your archives. Andy and Flo were watching tv and chuckling at the antics of the band. andy asked who they were and Flo said they were the Temperance Seven. At which point Andy angrily turned the tv off.

Glad I not there listening somewhat to Elvis bad hour.

I might have been the only teenage boy growing up in Texas in the 50s who didn’t care much for Elvis. I pretended to, of course[all the girls liked him], but I much preferred Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, and Duane Eddy. Anybody else have favorites other than Elvis?

well, it was 400 degrees here in hell and I am confident it is heading that way again today.

Andy should of sang the Elvis song ‘Viva Las Vegas’ since that song is about gambling. Andy may not spin a roulette wheel or feed coins into the Fruit Machines but he bets on horses and that’s still gambling.

I love that song.

My cousin was a backup singer for Elvis. High tenor in the Jordonnairs Quartet. He’s still around, but not performing anymore.
