Rover cannot let good ice cream drippings go to waste, even if the Chocolate is not good for him and he got rid of the ants like so many watermelon seeds. Way to go Rover
Once, during my learning years (2-74), I was playing anteater with a soda straw. I got a little black ant stuck in my throat. Tasted like rye bread. I haven’t eaten rye bread since. Haven’t eaten any ants either.
TashaNC: They can certainly get stuff out of their mouths. Our dog was in a pet food eating contest and finished way ahead of any others, but was disqualified because there was a ring of carrots around the bowl. I protested, “He’s a dog, not a rabbit” to no avail.

Chocolate-covered ants are one thing, Rover…but don’t try the cockroaches! It’s enough to make me barf!

I think it was just plain gross. It may put me off of having some breakfast this morning.
