She’s checking out Monkey Blues latest escapades…er I mean his latest campaign.

My neighbors aren’t that interesting. A few years ago I had a Mrs Kravitz who couldn’t get enough of watching me come home from work and do regular old chores.

She could join a focus group.

I’m going to have to start keeping a chart…. folks on Ballard St.seem to switch names, hobbies, hair colors….maybe even dogs….and I hope not partners,at a dizzying pace.Good thing I have the hair salon so I usually know who’s beneath the newly red, blonde, or color-changing ( © X Industries Ltd ) hair. I almost did a “Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice” post when after a while we had in different comics ‘Ted and Ginger’, ‘Sandy and Neal’, and ‘Ted and Sandy’.

In light of yesterdays discovery…. it has become clear that our fine community is in dire need of municipal upgrades in order to keep pace with our growing economy, career and business development.If elected I, IMB… will donate the remainder of my personal campain funds towards the construction of a newly proposed BC County Cat Court House with adjoining athletic facility (75,000 seat stadium) and Cowbell Museum. The resulting revenues generated will be used to fuel much needed infrastructure upgrades and expansion. This in turn will provide opportunities for our younger citizens to develop skills and growth of our developing technology thereby increasing the diversity of our GDP export. Also, as a result, the influx of new tourism will provide needed regional and national exposure to our diversified attractions.

My buddy, the irrepressible, follicle challenged, ( stand in for Laughin Larry ) guitarist from Tenacious D, Kyle Gass will be dropping by. He said good ole Jack ( Black ) might accompany him. So if you want to drop by and do a little jamming, you’re more than welcome.Mayebe rock out on a little Deth Starr with Jack, if that’s your kind of thing.Of course all of my Ballard Street friends are invited also. Rum Punch and Snickerdoodles for all !

Oh, Monkey…. so very sweet of you to offer your campaign funds in the public interest like that.

It’s a very beautiful and worthwhile project… and it would be an absolutely wonderful addition to Ballard County…I hope that your desire to fund such a an enormous undertaking out of your own pocket will bring you many additional votes in the upcoming election.

But….. Monkey, dear … um…. are you referring to personal campaign funds you have somehow accumulated from rich supporters, or from your vast dealings in foreign commerce?

Because quite frankly, except for a week or two after you return from a triumphant expedition to Turdmunkistan, piles of cash from the sale of yak meat and other goodies burning holes in your pockets, your usual condition seems to be that of someone without two bananas to rub together.

And if you mean the funds being collected for your campaign by your faithful Ballard Street volunteers….. well…I’m afraid your plans are a bit grandiose for the available campaign chest balance $16.53.Of course, we do have the 4th of July coming up, where we hope hot dog sales will net something in the range of the low three figures.

As for enlarging and updating the Tiki Bar….. well….I’m afraid the use of campaign funds for that purpose is prohibited….but after you’re Sheriff, I’m sure we’d all help paint the place.
