Wow…SMART!

Man, now Liō’s Eva and Eva Liō.

I had a similar experience in school with a girl I liked. I got tired of looking like a tongue-tied dork, realized she was way out of my league anyway, and left her alone. I found out years later that it really bothered her.

Has Lio caught on about playing hard to get?

I had kind of the opposite dynamic going on when I was (what I presume to be) Lio’s age. Having been born with multiple disabilities, I had it in my head that no girl would ever want me. Which meant that I completely ignored two girls who quite openly flirted with me – simply because it didn’t occur to me that they were doing anything other than being (platonically) friendly with me. Both of them have since told me it drives them nuts. Conversely … the first girl I ever kissed was a second-grade classmate named Nicole. She moved in 6th grade. 25 years later, there’s a part of me that is still driven nuts by the fact that I have no idea where she is.

Try again Eva! But this time try putting on some makeup (especially on the eyes and lips).

Maybe Lio’s not playing hard to get, but found somebody else.
