I was amused to discover that Spanish iconography normally depicts John the Baptist as a sturdy boy of about 4 or 5 while Jesus is still a babe in arms. Which is odd when you consider that we are told Elisabeth was in her 6th month with John when Mary (already pregnant) went to visit her.I pointed this out to one of my younger students, who brought it up with the nuns at school. The information was not well recieved
colin was in his father’s series called band of brothers. 1 epi. also liked him orange county, dexter, the good guys (another fox show that cost them money). and, 1114 was good. probably doesn’t hurt if your father is tom hanks, and it opens a lot of doors.
He asked Col’ who the father was:“My reputation’s tainted.”“We met upon the way to school,He struck me as a bully,But as to who the culprit is,My memory is wooly”

Nuns, HUH! What do they know? Punishment, yes; obedience, only for others……..and that they’re all married to the same man.

I didn’t know that John the B came from Devon. Just look at the way he’s beckoning to the sheep to climb on his lap.

Never mind – a nice rub down with some lanolin lotion, preferably applied by a lotion lackey in need of training.
That should help you feel better.

John comes from a country, where the men are men, and the sheep are real nervous.
