    I mean, isn’t everything going to Hell?

    BTW WalMart’s own brand of casual clothing really IS “Faded Glory.” Kinda cool, actually, cos I think it started with their jeans.

    Now he’s on the horns of a dilemma. He probably doesn’t like Christian Dior, but maybe he’ll consider Fruit of the Doom, or Tommy Hellfiger.

    I don’t know about the ‘marketing ploy’ thing. I live in a college town and what I heard from the WalMart manager is that the handbaskets kept disappearing from the store, mainly because of an undergraduate fad for making them the target of scavenger hunts. Whether that’s true or not, the handbaskets came back.
