I always check the previous day’s strip in case I missed some gems..I would like to deck the whole garden but steeply terraced. The guy two houses away has done his and it looks good – his garden was more level. I’m not a grower (but my dad was always digging and planting)..If you hear of any “Agent Orange” going spare, let me know.
That was SOME comment to me yesterday. But it was really sweet of you to take the time to type all of that.
It was nice of your mother to learn you how to play the Guitar. I’m sure she was pretty good at it herself. Age 11 is quite a good age to start.
I laughed at what you put about the ‘one thousand monkeys on one thousand typewriters’ method. I think I used to do that too when on the Keyboard.
As for the roofing, I’m glad everything is going along well and the permitting has been put in, the sooner everything is started the sooner you can all put your feet up and crack open a few cans (Because believe me you deserve it) and I’m also glad that it’s a lot cooler for you.
Thank you again for that very long comment and I’m sorry to ask you so many questions.
Thanks for the reply. I guess we have progressed somewhat over the last half century. I can empathize with Andy in just about all ways except striking Flo. That is just not funny.
Violence between men and women still happens and it’s often not reported. A lot of men are victims of female violence and are just too embarrassed to report it.. It’s NOT right that anyone uses violence against anyone else but in certain strands of society it is (or was) commonplace..The original strips echoed this in a humorous way but never condoned it. Social commentary can be more powerful if tempered with humour and we know that Andy and Flo aren’t real but the focal point of a wider “study”..Flo gives as good as she gets and if Andy ever became a “nineties man” the whole thing would fail. So, let’s not take the strip as a lesson in how to behave, but a reminder that other people’s lives are different..Heaviness over – Hi everybody. Hi, beardy nit.
@Number ThreeAt 17 you are still a baby. I’ve got socks older than you. Just be yourself and enjoy your youth. You have a whole lifetime of experiences ahead of you. Pay no attention to old coots like me (except for this post of course.) ♥

Perhaps an apology to both is in order, Andy.

Terrible experiences women have to put up with!

Do you mean to tell me that you really DO need a “fish license”? John Cleese was right after all?

Why can’t you keep that lazy slug banged up for life?!
Would give Flo a much more peaceful and less stressful life.
Poor Flo in the last panel.

You would have thought Flo would be a lot more grateful!
He wouldn’t dare raise his hands to me.

I don’t like the ones where Andy is bopping Flo. Violence against women is unacceptable, even in the comics. That’s my personal view.
