O.K. I know I’m first, but I’m NOT going to name the d..n dog ! I really have a deaf dog ( born that way ) that I wish could read. He does remarkably well with hand signals, though.
Is this the same Marcus whose dog has been digging holes all over town?
Seems you have more important canine control and training issues, Marcus, than just reading readiness!
When he’s ready, he’ll read…. meanwhile, please practice walking on a leash, sitting on command, and keeping off the neighbor’s grass.Get your wife to help. When you can do those properly, teach them to the dog.
afficionado,I am still confused by your early comment to me at Andy Capp about not being a language Nazi. Did i say something that offended ? Certainly didn’t mean to.
We’re still heating with oil and cooling with window A/C’s in a very big, old and drafty house. Probably as far removed from energy effecient as anybody could be. Not that we wouldn’t want to update it, but at this point, I’m guessing it would be a little outside the budget.Good for you, though! Keep me posted on how it’s working out for you! You might convince me to take another look at making some changes here!

I used to have a cat who would read magazines and newspapers, sometimes books, by curling up and sleeping on them.

I always assume so. Especially, as I cut them off. I smile and return the signal.

Having lost his “Donald Trump toupee” to Marcus (the dog), Adrian decides upon a remedial back-to-the-basics training course for him…
LESSON ONE: “Drop the stick”
( Will they get to: “Release the rug” by summer’s end? The battle of wills has begun. )

Heck with dropping the stick. Train Marcus to use The Stick and get massages.

One final thing on that dog – whatever his !@#$%$^&** name is. It appears to me that he is eyeing is owner’s pant leg to post an appropriate response.
