    As for AGW, the question isn’t whether the earth’s climate is changing (it always is). The question is whether any of the economy-killing measures proposed by the AGW zealots actually does any good, and particularly whether any benefits outweigh the costs. After 2 decades about lecturing us about carbon dioxide, the AGW zealots now claim methane is the real problem. If they can’t get their claims straight, why should we trust them on anything else?

    Heck, if we had built all the nuclear power plants that were scheduled to be built in 1979, we’d be far below even the most aggressive Kyoto targets. Maybe “environmentalists” are the worst enemies of the environment.

    The French are actually pretty good at extracting as much power from nuclear rods as possible. Nuclear would be a lot safer if only we had a sparsely populated place, such as rural Nevada, to store the spent rods, rather than leave them storage centers less than 100 miles away from each of our major cities.
