Know this to be a strip meant to be fun,and love it for this. Don’t wish to ruin the spirit of fun, which also enjoy greatly.Today’s strip is also sardonic humor, and appreciate it as such. Not many could do so, myself included. Have so many thoughts that wish to direct to you.Also believe you to refer to combat in Viet Nam.Please know that reception of Viet Nam vets here was more likely the result of public revulsion to the policies that sent you there, and not animosity towards vets themselves.Was also Viet Nam era myself, time up 1 year after Gulf of Tonkin, never saw combat, and as have said before, would now declare C.O. status having known then what is known now.Admire you greatly, honestly.

Cannot sleep tonight, and don’t mean to ruin the spirit of fun here. Just wished to share a few thoughts with you.Some comments made by me at Shoe were censored, by sources unknown. Believe you will know this, by reviewing the posts. Am sure the artists and others can do this. Their strip, their right to do so.However, am sickened by the current state of affairs in this country, and believe Wiley to be so, also, though so greatly admire his ability to express this with a beautiful sense of humor.Am truly sickened by reep candidates and the prospect of the devastation they will wreak on the country if they win.Noticed post with regard to disgust at Romney Hood, Ryan, Ayn Rand, greed, fairness, and lack of living wages for workers was deleted there.Believe Wiley to not be offended by the expression of such. Only wished to express disgust for such disregard of human dignity to be felt for the poor, humane treatment of animals destined for slaughter,etc.Realise some cannot handle this-their right to hate my 1st amendment rights to speak also. None of the “police actions” since WWII have anything to do with retaining our right to vote. They are about opening up markets for American companies to exploit. The only problem is that in the last 20 years, it hasn’t been for American companies, it has been for huge multinational corporations.

Sharuniboy: as to “alternative medicine”, I do find the objection by some to “Chinese” (or other) herbalists interesting, by the same folks paying huge profits to pharmaceutical giants, who’ve only modified, or synthesized these same herbals, that have been effective for thousands of years. The biggest worry of course on loss of rain forests and other “natural environments” IS the LOSS of potentially thousands of new medicines from species yet to be “discovered”.

Au contraire…surprisingly, Ambien is not on many approved formularies. Specially Medicare Supplemental Insurances.
