My employer is a government, and the pension plan is going broke because management won’t allow an increase in pension deductions. They’d have to match the deductions, and they tell us that taxes would have to go up. They aren’t willing to increase taxes for things they don’t want…

I work for the government and only the people under the old system have the good pension plan. When they came up with new one (basically a 401k) they actually put in writing that is was becasue the old one was too good to high grade employees
